Presidential Campaign

Fist off i hate politics, I just don't care really. I probably should care, but I have a lot more important things in my life then keeping up with all the hype. With that said, I got this video right off Mitt Romney's website. This is a very recent video that aired in Virginia. Romney's first statement is a low blow to obama when he criticizes him for not doing anything since he took office. I was also curious about the specifics issues covered in the ad and the fact that it aired in virginia. There seems to be an emphasis on military strengthening, and less defense cuts.

  1. Yeah, it's interesting how he is trying to use Logos in 'creating new jobs', and military spending, yet has no clue on how to do it. Pathos is implied because the whole military idea is based on the fact that if the military doesn't have money, soldiers will die.

  2. When I watched this, the first thing that came to mind, as a particularly uninformed constituent of our fine republic, was the issue with logos in this ad. The Inherent premises are alright, if "this president" is doing everything wrong, then I will do the opposite and everything will be well and fine. This is logically flawed and contradicts most everything I have heard from other sources. I am no expert, but after watching this I was just left thinking: "wtf."

More. More entries, of course, but more in your entries, too.
